“On June 8, 2021, I ran over a curb and damaged one of my tires. I was at the Stop & Shop on Southern Artery. After shopping I noticed the tire was low and probably should not drive until it had been pumped up. I had a pump in my car, so I pumped it up went on my way. Shortly the low-pressure tire light came on. At this point I knew that I had a problem.

I tried several “tire” repair shops, but they did not have the replacement tire in stock. My girlfriend suggested going to her mechanic, John to see if he could put the spare on. We drove over to Super Petroleum and Stacia was outside, and I told her I had a tire with a slow leak and wondered if they could put my spare on. She drove my car into the bay and she and John started work on changing the tire. John found the leak in the sidewall and told me I needed a new tire. John said he could order a new tire and would put the spare on so I could drive home. I was very pleased with having the spare tire put on quickly and agreed to have John order a new tire and which he said it would be in the next day. I left my car at the station the next morning and asked Stacia to give me a call when the work was done. I received a call in the afternoon that the car was ready around 3. My girlfriend drove me over to pick the car. I was completely satisfied on how quickly and easy my situation was taken care of. John and company took all the stress out of the situation for me. Extremely very pleased how everything worked out. JF Auto Care is accommodating, cares about its customers, and does a great job.”

“I have lived in Houghs Neck for over 60 years. I'm a Necker. I'm also a nurse, it was 5/6/21 Nurse's Day. I wanted to celebrate with my colleagues. I have food and gifts in my car. On my way to work I discover I have a flat tire. I live within walking distance to J.F. Auto Care. I drive over, Sasha met me, she was friendly, professional, knowledgeable . She solved my problem immediately. The flat was fixed, I was on my way but not before I got my inspection sticker. My son, my neighbors, use this shop. They have nothing but good things to say. Word of mouth with satisfied customers is the best. I would recommend JF Auto Care for my car needs. JF staff wore masks, ensured social distance and per Sasha, do aggressive cleaning. Truly what more could you want in a skilled mechanic? His daughter runs the door which I also love. Long review: I recently moved to Quincy, and needed to pick a new place for oil changes, auto repair, etc. I initially scheduled an appointment with a nearby Ford dealership, and they were going to rip me off! They also took forever just to schedule an appointment. I literally walked away from the dealership, and gave these guys a call.

They were able to see me within a few hours. They were quick, courteous, and cheap! Really can't get any better. I paid less than $30 for an oil change. They were also proactive and recommended to get a (much needed) tire rotation, and reminded me of maintenance coming up. They were not pushy, very polite, and excellent at communication. I truly appreciate how good they are.”

Never will go to anyone else . Even if he is busy I will wait for another day. I rather walk 20 miles to work than see another mechanic”

“I've been going to JF Auto Care (John) since 2000 and realized the other day that this is the 5th car I've brought to him (2 Hondas, 2 Mercedes, and a Nissan). Simply put, I TRUST HIM. I trust him to do the work that needs to be done and not to do work that doesn't need to be done. He and the guys in his shop offer great service at very fair prices. On one below-zero day, I had a flat and John came to my house with compressed air so that I could get to his shop to fix the tire. Another time, when I called him with a concern, he alleviated it over the phone. He never makes me feel awkward about asking questions.”

We have used John several times over the 16 yrs we have lived in Hough's Neck for vehicle repairs & he has always been more than fair. He has gone above & beyond to keep our costs down & today was no exception when I had an exhaust issue with my Jeep. He always gives us options & explains everything. “John is probably the most trustworthy auto technician (and shop owner) I have met so far. Speaking from vehicle service as well as employment (previously worked for John), I have first hand experience on who is who. I have worked at two other MAJOR auto repair chains in Quincy, and JF Auto is by far the most honest and capable. Flat rate timing is not of an importance here. Customer satisfaction and trust is. John is a good guy, and is very knowledgeable when it comes dealing with quality work and client satisfaction. Part changing is easy, but JF Auto knows that understanding how to fully diagnose vehicular problems while systematically alleviating further discrepancies is imperative in the repair industry.”

“Wonderful neighborly service station , only been here twice since moving to houghs neck ...both times very impressed I had an emergency tire problem , they took care of me immediately , almost half the cost of what the station up the street quoted me when I accidentally called them as my smart phone thought I was near them.

“I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the service and respect I receive at JF Auto. I've brought my car here twice and their work and attention to detail will keep me coming back. They are timely, fair priced and don't try to talk you into anything you don't need. The mechanic who worked on my car today not only fixed the issues I came with but gave me a check list of what upcoming services I should consider with the next oil change. He also kept looking for 'the tinny rattling sound' I reported until he found a loose heat shield. I wish there were more service providers who are as honest as these guys.”
